Patent portfolio
Five patent families. Sixteen filings across the US, Canada, Europe, and the PCT international collection. Filed between 2014 and 2018 in an ad-tech context. Every one of them answers a question that only got more relevant in the decade since.
Each page has the problem, the mechanism in plain English, what would be different if it were invented in 2026, three marketplace applications that have nothing to do with advertising, and the architectural components the system needs to exist.
The stack, read top to bottom
Read in order, the five patents describe a coherent stack: identity resolution underneath, qualitative valuation on top of that, a control surface to drive it, a trigger layer that decides when to act, and a settlement layer that lets the result actually change hands. In 2014-2017 it was built for ad-tech because that was the commercial surface with the budget. The underlying architecture applies anywhere.

Toggle between the 2014 ad-tech framing and the 2026 reinterpretation. Run one of four example traces — ad-tech direct response, split-payer healthcare checkout, agentic B2B procurement, or disaster-relief disbursement — and watch it flow through every layer of the stack.

Closing synthesis
In 2014-2017 this stack was built for and described in the language of ad-tech because that was the commercial surface with the budget to fund it. In 2026, the exact same primitives — graph-based identity resolution, scarcity-weighted scoring, declarative activation surfaces, trigger-event agentic systems, and rule-governed multi-party settlement — are the foundation of agentic commerce, privacy-preserving healthcare interoperability, programmable stablecoin finance, and autonomous civic infrastructure.
The ad-tech framing was the cocoon. The underlying architecture is just starting to stretch its wings.
